We continue to work on the new meta-fusion video player
We have completed the mock-up work and are now focusing on development. We are currently in the proof-of-concept phase. From now on we will develop the user features step by step.
We will continue to work on these issues during the next sprints:
- We intensify to work more modularly than we do now.
- We start using a new player API to pull data from our Webcast Manager.

We made some progress in SEO and accessibility optimisation for our platform
We have taken an important step in improving accessibility by completely redesigning our websites and headline hierarchy to be screen reader and search engine friendly.
However, we still have a lot of text work to do, so our efforts will become more visible over time.
Platform consultants can now customise user login pages
Most of our videos are access-restricted. So the user login page is a single point of truth: this is where the user needs to be convinced to stay in the system instead of leaving. That is why it´s important that the login page has a very good user experience and a compelling wording.
We want our customers to be able to change the content of the login page as easily as possible. With this sprint deployment, our platform consultants can customise the login pages, but we plan to give our customers access to these features as well.
We have made progress in the robustness of our systems
All our services shall be as reliable as possible. We are therefore continuing our efforts to optimise our systems and development tools:
- We have developed a new production instance based on the new infrastructure requirements. To make life easier for our developers, they can now start deployment with a single click.
- We have already transferred the first tools to the new infrastructure.
As these improvements continue, we will be able to offer new features to our customers, soon:
- Directly on-demand: The recording of a presentation is available immediately after the seminar.
- Slide searchability: All slides in a presentation will be parsed and classified for full-text search in our library.
